Gerry has so much talent both vocally and as a guitarist/songwriter that Chet Atkins has had him work with him.Enough said.
This is the best of Jerry Reed.I was really surprised that Jerry could sing a love song,but he can,and this CD proves it.If you like Jerry Reed,you'll like this CD.
They must have improved the quality considerably. I thought the sound quality was good considering that this is much older music. So I would say I enjoy this CD. I bought this CD basically for one song. I found a couple others that I liked so that was good.
Key track Amos moses. Jerry will always be missed for being the great guitar player he was and if you are looking to get started with his music this is the album to buy first.
The range is wide; from comedy to love. Jerry Read's lyrics are funny and entertaining, almost like listening to an old radio show. After listening to the first song, old memories return. You'll be impressed with all the Jerry Reed songs you actually know and love, but forgot about.
